Getting Started with Moon
Before you can start trading on Moon, there are a few steps you’ll need to complete.
1. Register Your Moon Account
To create an account, you must reside in a country or region where Moon is available and supported.
During registration, you’ll be asked to provide:
Your email address
A secure password
Basic account information
Once your account has been created, you can continue with the next steps.
2. Verify Your Email Address
After registering, you’ll need to verify your email address before accessing certain platform features.
To verify your email:
Check your inbox for the verification email from Moon
Open the email, copy the verification code and paste it within the modal on Moon
If you do not receive the email, check your spam or junk folder before requesting a new one.
3. Complete Identity Verification (KYC)
To make a deposit on Moon, you must complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) process.
This may require:
A valid government-issued ID (front and back)
Proof of address
Please note:
KYC must be submitted before you can make a deposit
KYC approval is required before you can withdraw funds from your account
Verification times may vary depending on demand and document quality.
4. Make Your First Deposit
Once your email has been verified and KYC has been submitted, you can make your first deposit.
At this time, Moon only supports cryptocurrency deposits.
To deposit crypto:
Navigate to the Wallet or Deposit section
Select the cryptocurrency you wish to deposit
Copy your deposit address
Send funds from your external wallet to the provided address
Always ensure you are sending the correct asset to the correct network.
What’s Next?
