How to Place Your First Bet on Moon

After successfully creating your account, verifying your email, submitting KYC, and making your first deposit, you’ll be ready to place your first bet on Moon.

1. Select an Asset

Moon offers a wide range of markets that can be wagered on 24/7, including:

  • Cryptocurrency

  • Equities

  • Futures

  • Commodities

  • Forex

To begin, navigate to the interface and select the asset you would like to wager on.

2. Open the Bet Menu

Once you’ve selected an asset, locate the bet menu on the right-hand side of the screen.

From here, you can configure your wager settings.

3. Choose Your Bet Direction

Select whether you believe the asset price will move:

  • Up — if you expect the price to rise

  • Down — if you expect the price to fall

4. Enter Your Wager and Leverage

Next, enter:

  • Your wager amount

  • Your desired leverage amount

Moon offers leverage of up to 1000x depending on the selected market and conditions.

Please note:

  • Your maximum possible loss is limited to your wager amount

  • Your account balance can never go below zero as a result of a bet

5. Configure Optional Risk Settings

Moon also provides additional risk management tools to help you manage your position.

Optional settings include:

  • Sell Limit Price — automatically closes your bet at a selected target price

  • Auto Profit % Close — automatically closes your bet once a profit percentage is reached

  • Auto Loss % Close — automatically closes your bet once a loss percentage is reached

These settings can help you automate bet management and reduce risk exposure.

6. Open Your Position

Once you’ve reviewed your wager settings, press the Open Position button.

Your bet will be executed and your open position will appear in your open bets panel.

Important Notes

  • Wagering with leverage increases both potential profits and potential losses

  • Market prices can move rapidly, especially during periods of high volatility

  • Always bet responsibly and understand the risks before opening a position
